To the left is a picture of the town of Albalate del Arzobispo. We went to this town, as well as two others on the 28th of April. Albalate marks the 600th town that we have been to since we started passing out tracts in the various pueblos of Aragón. The town is well known as part of the "Ruta de Tambores," several towns in the province of Teruel that feature extravagent processions during Holy Week at Easter time. We hope to give them something more to hope for than religion.
I quilt to find beauty amid the ashes of life. My husband and I minister in Zaragoza, Spain, where we love the sunny days and the slower paced life-style, but our roots are in New York, where all is green and friendly. I teach English, patchwork style, to all ages, sizes and shapes of people. We are a family of nine, which includes my two beautiful grandchildren!
